Wells Fargo Corporate Campus

The Wells Fargo campus in West Des Moines is a ground-up build of five new office buildings and associated parking structures, and is home to nearly 5,000 employees. The jk.cs. team developed a comprehensive identification, signage, and wayfinding program, designing and managing the implementation of over 2,800 interior and exterior signs.

The project includes extensive training facilities, with employees and others visiting the campus for only short periods of time. The wayfinding strategy is centered around movement between and within buildings, utilizing a system of icons and simple-on-the-surface but complex-under-the-hood naming and numbering conventions.

The wayfinding and interior identification signage is also fully integrated with mail routing, all IT systems and facilities management and planning, and is extensible to allow for future buildings as they come on line.
